First trainers successfully assessed!

Our Association was able to assess the first five trainers in line with the guideline VDI/VDE MT 2637 Part 2 on 24/25 February in Augsburg. During two busy days, participants presented their training concept for selected Q modules according to the guideline, and had to answer the detailed questions submitted by the independent VQWS Examination Committee.

The high demands that characterise the VQWS certification regulations were met by all participants, meaning that the Examination Committee applied for certification. The feedback from the participants attested to the very high level of skill required, as well as the exam’s didactic, organisational and, in particular, technical requirements. We would like to congratulate all participants and thus the first certified trainers according to VDI/VDE MT 2637 Part 2.

We recommend all interested parties who would like to undergo a certification to register promptly for the next certification dates in 2023. The capacity for upcoming examination dates is limited. If you are interested, please contact us at info@vqws.de.

First certification round in February!

The Association VQWS e.V. will be starting as early as February with the first trainer certification efforts according to VDI/VDE-MT 2637 Part 2.

On 24/25 February in Augsburg, a total of five registered trainers will present their training programme to the assessors who have to evaluate organisational, technical and didactic requirements according to the guideline. Upon successful completion, the trainers will receive a VQWS certificate for the tested Q-Modules in accordance with VDI/VDE-MT 2637 Part 1.

Due to the broad range of topics covered by all 52 Q-Modules and their application in all bolt technology disciplines across a wide variety of industries, high-level demands will also be placed on the assessors as such. The Certification Council of the VQWS has made all the necessary preparations over the last few months, in order to organise a smooth certification process and to ensure the professional and independent assessment by the appointed assessors at all times.

The Certification Council, the assessors and the entire VQWS are looking forward to this event, and wish all participants a successful outcome!

Trainers who would like to know more are kindly requested to contact us as soon as possible for the next certification dates in 2023. Subsequent dates will be announced shortly.

VDI is an official cooperation partner of the VQWS!

On 30 January 2023, the VDI and the VQWS signed an enhanced cooperation agreement!

With immediate effect, the Association “Verband für Qualifikation und Wissenstransfer in der Schraubtechnik e.V.” is the official partner of the Association “Verein Deutscher Ingenieure e.V.” on the subject of trainer certification.

The VQWS e.V. is now exclusively responsible for the certification of trainers according to the guideline VDI/VDE-MT 2637 Part 2, and can, therefore, issue trainers who successfully complete their certification with a certificate that is also recognised by the VDI.
This is another important milestone for our Association. The first certification dates will already take place in the coming weeks!
We would like to thank the VDI Team for the trust they have placed in us and their valuable support in advancing the level of qualification in bolt technology in a sustainable manner.

A firm grip on bolt technology

Check out the new video trailer of our media partner – Vogel Communications Group AG.

It offers a fantastic array of impressions with many visitor and exhibitor comments on the SchraubTec trade fair in Dresden. The positive impressions shared by the trade visitors and exhibiting companies show how important this new exchange platform for all players in the field of bolt technology has become within such a short period of time. Short distances, cutting-edge bolt technology and the combination of exhibition and lectures offer the ideal conditions for professional discussions, valuable contacts and real-terms solutions.

In the video, our 1st Chairman of the Board, Hans-Martin Hanke, also emphasises the fair’s importance for us as an association, but also for industry in general.

As a conceptual partner and expert advisor to Vogel Communications, we will continue to support this trade fair to the best of our ability in 2023. We would like to invite all our members, supporters and anyone interested in bolt joint technology topics to participate as an exhibitor or guest, and to enter into expert discussions with us and others. Please contact Vogel Communications Group AG directly. Mr Bernd Weinig will be at your disposal during SchraubTec to ensure all communication efforts run smoothly.
